Compassionate Chefs for Kids is a premier culinary event in Northwest Florida, with over 30 local and regional restaurants donating their time and recipes to help the children we serve. The premise is simple: Local culinary artists create a sampling of their favorite dishes and serve them to our generous guests in the ballroom of the beautiful Bay Point Marriott. The festivities include a spirited silent auction and live entertainment. Past guests of honor include Oprah's chef, Art Smith of Chicago, and Chef Tim Creehan of the Beach Walk restaurant in Destin, Florida.
This year's celebrity chef is non other than "The Royal Chef" Darren McGrady. Chef McGrady was a senior chef at Buckingham Palace for 15 years and HRH Princess Diana's personal chef for 4 years!
