Pageant is Open to Florida Residents Only! Age’s 0-Up
AGE DIVISIONS: BABY 0-23 MONTHS, TEENY 2-3 YEARS, TINY 4 - 6 yrs, LITTLE 7 - 9 yrs at 4:00pm. JUNIOR 10 - 12 yrs, TEEN 13 - 16 yrs, MISS 17 - 24, MRS 18-UP & MARRIED at 6:00pm
No experience is necessary to compete in the Miss Florida Palm Pageant!
Teen, Miss & Mrs are judged on 50% interview - 25% public speaking - 25% evening gown competition
All other divisions are judged a 1 to 20 on Personality - Beauty - Poise - Gown - Overall Appearance
Entry Fee is $60.00 if postmarked by May 3rd 2008 & includes Application, Fees, Ads & Photos
Applications postmarked after May 3rd will be accepted until May 17th, however the entry fee will increase to $75.00. If you're a current reigning Queen of any other Pageant within Florida your entry fee is only $40.00.
The 2nd Annual Miss Florida Palm State Pageant is designed as a premier pageant system to support Education & to give contestants necessary practice & confidence of life skills for future Interviews, speech, public speaking and other competitions. Miss Florida Palm Queen Prizes Age 17-24
State of Florida Title of Miss Florida Palm State Pageant Queen. A Scholarship check will be given to the 2008-2009 Miss Florida Palm State Queen for her college or university at the end of her reign. Our 1st year with only 21 contestants & no reigning Miss Florida Palm Queen we presented the 2006-2007 Miss Florida Forestry Brigette Utley a check to Chipola College that paid her entire 1st semester. High end State Level Crown: 3 inch for younger divisions & 5 1/4 inch for older divisions. Double stoned lined high end white sash finely embroidered in Green & trimmed in orange. 3 foot tall double column engraved trophy. Gifts & Prizes.
Queens Prizes for all other Divisions: State of Florida Title of Miss Florida Palm State Pageant Queen.
Savings Bonds: Intended for education will be given out to all other division Queens at the end of their Reign beginning with the 2008-2009 Queens.
